The Hatchet is a book of resemblance, because there are so many things you may relate to.Brian(the main character),his parents have went through one of the biggest reasons for a young kid to go crazy''DIVORCE''.Brian is devistated and knows a secret that has to do with his mom and a blonde haired man.Beyond his parents split he has to visit his father in Alaska every summer.I love this because I know what he is going through at a certain extent because my parents were once together but now are apart. The feeling of once having a full family and seeing it be ripped apart by secrets and problems. But this book shows what it is like to have to go through that pain. Also there is a suprising twist while he's traveling to visit his father.Through the time i've been reading and how far i've got the book is alright and I can relate to some/most of what he's going through.

Derrick...dude...I can't really tell who you are from your handle.

Brian is having such a tough time before his plane crashes. We'll have to see if he can deal with his family conflicts in addition to his...umm..nature problem.
