Chicago (Blacky)
The more I read this I find myself wanting to read more. Each page brings something new every time, the auther truly captures a 11 year olds language. While at the same time capturing a more mature language, the two together makes an excellent book. The character blacky in the story is blind to the fact that he is a victim in society. Whether hes at school or at home, he is still an outcast. Theirs one person he can count on and thats a new friend my the name of Margret. The two have similar issues they both are considered losers and are constantly under a microscope at school. The two team up and fight back and promise each other to make others pay for all the pain that has been caused.

Candace, how does the author capture an 11 year old's language? Can you provide an example?
