I really like this book. Its almost like reading friends instant messages that they sent you to tell you a story they experienced. The characters in this story are more than believable. The two main characters Julius and Chloe are the easiest ones to relate to. Especially since we are currently in our senior year of high school and are looking into and applying to colleges. Julius and Chloe both attended a weekend open house at a school they were both interested in. They enjoyed the school and each others company as well. After they return home to finish up their last year of highschool they keep in touch with each other via email. Both have tough decisions based on family influence.
Julius' mother would rather have him go to an in state college so he could be closer to her and Chloe's parents are to wrapped up in their almost never ending romance to care what their daughter decides. Basically it all comes down to them deciding what they truly want and making it happen regardless of any interferences.
These two characters remind me of myself, my friends, and peers because we too are struggling to make good decisions about college that will ultimately effect our future. Its stressful but like Julius and Chloe we have to learn to deal with it and ignore distractions.
Stories like this that are more up to date with technology and day to day situations are easier to relate to because we actually know what their talking about and sometime are going through the same things. I think i will enjoy continuing to read and finishing up this book.
