Blackys Character

My point of view on the character blacky, is that he is very naive and gullable. He deals with bad people on daily basis either at school or when he comes home. The only one who keeps him going is his brother, cheetle who is 9 but is the only one who has the intelligence of an articulate adult in the household. His sister is constantly stealing or smoking drugs, though blacky knows this he still treats shay as his big sister. His mom works tidiously day and night, which is why shes never home. So Blacky must continue to strive for greatness even though hatred and ignorance constantly gets in his way. Blacky is like the average 11 year old , but he carries a HUGE load on his shoulder that he doesnt even realize hes carrying. The author uses extroadinary language, which shows a 11 years olds true colors.
