My research on political corruption-

Today I did some research on my topic which is - what can we do about political corruption? After searching the net, and coming up with almost nothing I found out a couple of things. One, the actuall definition of political corruption two, things that have been put into play to try and reduce the scandals or illigitimate actions. Political corruption- when government officials use their governmental powers for illigitimate private gain. Why do politicians feel the need to go beyond means to win or to prove a point. For example I recently found out that politicians buy their votes just to reach their goal at hand. Though this is illigal obviously, their is still foul play at hand. Other corruptions include scandals, money handling, stealing and the most known of politicians lieing. The federal election commision of politicians has tried to strengthen their laws, so that politicians will learn to abide by rules and regulations. All politicians who cant follow rules or continue to not follow rules, will be punished. Either by imprisonment or by resignging. But with all these rules and regulations theirs constant corruption, Maybe the people as a whole can stop the dorruption. Politicians are suppose to be leaders and their coming out to be followers.
